The times they are a-changin’

I would like to thank everyone who has followed Tracko over the years and for all the kind words on my last post. A lot of things have changed since I began this blog in 2006 and a lot of things have stayed the same. I still ride a track bike, but now it has a brake. I still race singlespeed cyclocross, but do most of my riding on a geared bicycle. I still sit behind a computer most of the day, but now its at the register of the successful bike shop I opened with two of my friends. Tracko is still a blog about bicycles, but the content has matured. The look of Tracko was just about the only thing that hadn’t changed in the last 6 years and I felt like it was finally time for a makeover!

I liked the simplicity of the old Tracko blog, but wanted to update the look and add some of the new features that my friend John said would really help improve my SEO and visit duration. I have no idea what he was talking about, but I think the finished product looks pretty damn good!

Don’t expect 100s of posts daily (you should check out my friend John’s site for that) but what you will see is all quality.┬áLike everything I do there may be some kinks to work through with the launch of this new site, but in the long run I think it will be better for everyone. Keep an eye on the store – the redesign will be rolling through there soon along with new Ramblin’ Rolls and Workmen’s caps.

  1. The new site looks amazing man! The layout and design is very minimal and appealing. Pumped to see what you have going on in the near future. Thanks again for the Ramblin’ Roll too! I use it everyday!

  2. Kyle the new site looks fantastic man! The site has been a huge influence on me since day one. Hell I made it on the old site within the first fifty pages I believe (The good old days). Keep up the great work!

  3. Your and John’s pages are like two sides of the same coin. Please give us back all the post from old Tracko – that was history of our sport and people should be able to see that. Thanks for years of posts!!!
