First off, you’re going the wrong way. Second, those pants can’t be comfortable for riding a bike. And third, the only reason a road bike should be in a velodrome is if you’re finishing Paris-Roubaix!

As the 2013 ATOC comes to an end today, I thought it appropriate to post this awesome piece by Bill Strickland(with photos from Jeremy Dunn to accompany), about the lack of myth in the Tour Of California.
For sheer riding, I’d take Sierra Grade as well as the Croce d’Aune, except that at the top of the Italian mountain I can stop, and wheel my bike over, and kiss the statuary cheek of Tullio Campagnolo inventing the quick release.
