After working with Charge Bikes for as long as I remember (8 years maybe?), last year we decided to part ways as our paths had diverged to such an extent that it didn’t make sense to continue. Charge were my first bike sponsor and I’ll forever be grateful to them for supporting me and being so fun to work with but with me increasingly riding carbon road bikes, full suspension mountain bikes and track bikes, none of which they make, it was time to move on.
So this year, I wasn’t sure what bike I was going to race on at the the Red Hook Crit as for the first time I was free to ride anything I wanted. I’ve had several offers from teams I would genuinely really love to be a part of but with ASSOS being my priority these days, I had to turn them down as I’d never be able to wear a team skinsuit rather than my ASSOS one.
Enter Hartley Cycles!
I’m really looking forward to seeing the completion of this project!
